The food was good, though overpriced. But the dining experience was terrible. I visited this place with my partner to celebrate our anniversary, and what should have been a special day turned into a horrible experience.After ordering our food and settling at the table, we saw that the place was swarming with around 10 stray dogs. This is not an exaggeration. Since we are scared of dogs, we felt extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. It completely ruined our mood.We could not even finish our meal. We had to pack the food and leave as quickly as possible. This place ruined our anniversary, and that is unacceptable. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone, especially those who are afraid of dogs.

Worst experience ever – highly unprofessional and misleading I travelled 50 km specially to visit Char Restaurant, after checking that bookings were open for all days. There was absolutely no information anywhere that the restaurant would be closed. When I reached the VGP gate, I was told the restaurant is closed due to an in-house party. This was never conveyed to customers on booking platforms or anywhere else. This alone shows poor management and zero responsibility. What made the experience even worse was the behavior of Guy Kennedy, who was in charge of allowing people inside. He was extremely unprofessional, rude, and showed no basic respect while speaking to us. After travelling such a long distance, the least expected was a polite explanation, but instead we were treated very badly. This place has no respect for customers’ time, effort, or money. Completely misleading bookings, terrible coordination, and unprofessional staff behavior. A total waste of time and fuel. I will never visit again and strongly recommend others to avoid this restaurant. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
