Came to Chantilly with a full heart to celebrate a friend’s birthday even travelled all the way from Thane to Bandra for their much-talked-about cheesecake. Unfortunately, the only thing that lived up to the hype was the disappointment. The food was underwhelming, but what really took the cake (pun intended) was the service. When we asked for regular water, the staff (Aditya) said, “We don’t have regular water at all, even we have to pay from our pocket to drink water.” That’s not just absurd it’s downright cruel. If that’s true, Chantilly might just be the first café in Mumbai to make dehydration part of its brand identity. If mediocrity had an address, it would be this one. Do yourself a favour pick literally any other café in Bandra. At least you’ll be served with some respect… and maybe a glass of water. Team Chantilly, you can (and really should) do better.

Chantilly Cafe in Bandra is an absolute treat for dessert lovers! We ordered the Strawberry Tres Leches Cake, Nutella Bomb Waffles, Classic Pancakes and the OG Hot Chocolate - each one tempting in its own way. The Tres Leches was spectacular and our top pick - soft, creamy and not overly sweet. The hot chocolate was rich, thick and perfect for sharing. The waffles and pancakes were deliciously indulgent, though the chocolate drizzle on the waffle made it a bit soggy. The cafe itself has a charming, cozy vibe with friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. If you’re in Bandra and craving something comforting, rich, and perfectly sweet - Chantilly Cafe is the place to be!

I visited Chantilly - The Cafe in Mumbai on the 16th of August to try their iconic hot chocolate, which has garnered quite a reputation. The cafe itself is quaint and charming, with very limited seating, adding to its cozy and intimate ambiance. I opted for their Smorea Hot Chocolate with marshmallows, and I must say, it was truly heavenly. The hot chocolate was the best I've ever had—smooth, rich, and full of deep chocolate flavor that was both comforting and indulgent. The marshmallows added a delightful sweetness, perfectly complementing the dark chocolate. Despite the small space, the warm and inviting atmosphere makes Chantilly a gem of a find in Mumbai. If you're a chocolate aficionado or simply in search of a cup of hot chocolate that feels like a hug in a mug, this is the place for you. A must-visit for anyone looking to savor the best hot chocolate of their life!
