I went to Pazhayidom with zero expectations, and I was pleasantly surprised! The food was really good – I ordered the ghee roast and coffee, and both were satisfying. The restaurant has a nice, comfortable space, and the service was attentive and friendly. Overall, a great spot for a casual and tasty meal. A decent restaurant with some ok food. A normal meal is 160rs. I am sure we have better meals and better taste options. The service was ok by the team that served us. The initial guy who came to service front the counter was rude when we asked him to serve a decent amount of vegetables as he was being stingy and passed comments. All said if you are near the location, it's one of the options you can try out. I don't want to bring down this restaurant, but what they have is a name of a legend but the food they give is below average. Food was utter flop, may be that day's work but the ghee roast and poori was no where near any veg restaurant I have tried in months. The side dishes were also bad not the taste but the consistency, flavour and salt content. Food I can compromise a bit but what will I do with the chaaya (tea). Very sad to say unfortunate that day to have the worst tea. But the kaapi (coffee) was good . I believe they can do better. Great parking, roadside, easy access, we'll maintained toilet for travellers long distance. The place is good should definitely improve the food. One time tried and not convinced. Let's see if I ever make my mind to give it a shot again.
