A number of reviewers say that the staff is gracious here. Despite the popularity among clients, the weak side of Chandra Hill Resort is its cool service. As people state, inflated prices might disappoint you a little. Google users haven't given this place a high rating.

The worst. The other reviews speak for themselves. Overpriced, nasty food. Had to pay beggars to use the toilet; abominable. Only plus side is that the waiter was fast, so we could leave quickly.

We stopped by this so-called 3-star restaurant, though honestly, it didn’t feel like one. We have no idea about their rooms since we only dined there - our driver had taken us to this place. The restaurant had a small setup and didn’t really meet the standards of a 3-star property. We ordered poori-bhaji, aloo paratha, and tea. The food was just average and definitely overpriced for what it was. The service was okay at first, but their attitude changed slightly when we left without tipping. There was also a lady and a man stationed near the washroom handing out tissue papers, something that was already kept near the basin and they seemed to expect payment for it, which was quite strange. When we arrived, the place was empty except for us, though a group of foreigners came in later. The only positive point was the spacious parking area. Overall, it didn’t live up to the “3-star” tag at all.

Chandra Hill Resort is an embodiment of everything that’s wrong with tourism in India. I’m Indian, and my partner is American. The tour guide driver brought us here, presumably because they get kickbacks from these tourist trap restaurants. The moment we walked in, we realised it was a setup. A few tables were laid out and all of them were solely brimming with foreigners. Also, there were like a million flies buzzing on all the tables. We absolutely detested it. That’s one way to ruin the appetite. The food was quite overpriced. Ugh. Each dish was supremely overpriced. We decided to not get scammed totally, and ordered vegetarian sandwiches and samosas—like it can’t get any worse, right? We were wrong. The sandwich was the most bland and sad sandwich we’ve ever tasted. We just had one bite and were done. The Samosas were equally bland. It just felt like they just reheated some food lying around and served it to us on plates. India is a great country. I grew up here, and it made me who I am. But scams like Chanda Hill Resort make me realise how much progress we still need to make in the areas of tourism, and treating others right. White people colonised us, but that doesn’t mean we need to take revenge in every way possible. I get that they need to make money to survive, but they should at least provide good food for the money they charge. Just 10 words to conclude my review: Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Service: 1
