Ratings of Hotel Chandni Chowk Family Restaurant & Bar
We were waiting for 20 mins in the room seeing that we are waiting they are not coming and also...... The rooti r too hard we can use that as a blanket in winter and the tadka was so worst then we prefered chicken (not so good but eatable) overall bad experience..... Not satisfied not like previous chandni chowk. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Rating: 2/5 (as on June 26th, 2025) I’ve been visiting Hotel Chandni Chowk Family Restaurant & Bar since childhood, and honestly, the food used to be so much better. Sadly, my recent visit with family (4 members) was quite disappointing– not just in terms of food, but also the overall experience. ️ What we ordered:. Chicken Kosha, Laccha Paratha, Lemon Soda, Jeera Rice, Chicken Lollipop, and Paneer Butter Masala What went wrong: Chicken Kosha had a burned taste — not roasted, but actually burnt, which ruined the flavor. Laccha Paratha was so hard it was tough to chew and enjoy. Lemon Soda had no fizz at all. I agreed to add sugar, but all I tasted was salt and lemon. Jeera Rice was the only decent item. Chicken Lollipop and Paneer Butter Masala were okay, but both were a bit too salty. Overall: The taste and quality have clearly declined over time– which is really disappointing for a place that once served genuinely good food. Now about the service:. We sat in the AC room on the left side where another family was already dining. Only one AC (on their side) was running. We requested the staff to turn on the AC near us. The waiter told us it was faulty, so we had to settle with just the ceiling fan. BUT– after finishing our meal, I went back to get my forgotten headphones and found that the same AC was working just fine for a new group of 6 people who had just arrived. This might seem like a small thing, but it reflects a cheap and unfair mentality– which honestly left a bad impression. I really hope the management takes this seriously and improves both the food quality and staff behavior, because this place still has potential– but the current experience doesn't live up to it anymore.
