I have been a regular customer of this restaurant for the past 2–3 years. Earlier, this place was my first choice for biryani and kebabs, and I trusted the quality a lot. Because of this trust, I insisted on coming here even during the Puja season, although my friends suggested going to other restaurants. Only because of me, they waited 45 minutes to 1 hour outside, and after entering the restaurant, we again waited around 45 minutes inside. Unfortunately, today’s experience was very disappointing. After entering the restaurant, due to staff negligence and poor coordination, my biryani was delayed by another 20 minutes, while my friends had already received their food. In total, I waited almost 1.5 hours just to get one plate of biryani, which is not acceptable. There was also serious confusion while placing the order. We ordered four biryanis and two shawarmas—three chicken biryanis and one mutton biryani. The staff told us that mutton biryani was not available, but when I spoke to the team leader, he confirmed that mutton biryani was available and corrected the staff. This clearly shows that the staff is not properly trained and does not have basic knowledge about the menu. Earlier, about a year ago, the staff was polite, gentle, humble, and professional. They knew how to speak to customers and manage orders properly. Now, the staff feels unprofessional and poorly trained. Their communication, behavior, and overall presentation do not match the standards of a good restaurant, which makes the experience uncomfortable. The biggest disappointment was the food. The chicken and mutton in the biryani felt undercooked, almost raw. While the kebabs are still very delicious, the biryani portion size has reduced a lot. The meat pieces are almost half of what they used to be, the rice quantity has also decreased, and prices are increasing regularly. I understand inflation, but when prices increase, quality and quantity should be maintained. My honest ratings (earlier vs now):. Overall: 5/5 2/5. Food quality: 4.5/5 2.5/5. New staff: 1/5 I want to clearly state that I am not trying to mislead anyone through this feedback. Everything mentioned here is based on my real experience. If the restaurant management or staff wishes to meet me, I am completely open to explaining this face to face, so they can verify the facts themselves. I am not asking for any special treatment as a regular customer. I only expect basic professionalism, proper service, and well-cooked food. After today’s experience, I have decided not to visit again. I am sharing this feedback only because this restaurant once meant a lot to me, and I genuinely hope it improves.
