No fluff and frill - just walked in to have a cup of chai. The place looked interesting but the tea was just ordinary, neither great nor bad. The menu has Indian fare of snacks and beverages.
No ambiance to talk about as it's outdoor seating, which was particularly uncomfortable for us on a cold winter evening. Would give this one a pass; there are many more interesting places for tea.
Ordered snacks like Achari Puff, Samosa that were toothsome and moreover the Chai "Ginger Chai" was served hot and it actually felt that I am having "Ginger Chai".
But the delivery was late than expected, due to some traffic congestion, but thanks to zomato they refunded 100 Points as Zomato Credit.
I had ordered for 4 items. But in turn received 3 items. The fun was the billing part. As per zomato if I take 3 itema as delivered by Chai Point I am supposed to pay 291 but as per chai point bill I had to pay 326. Anyways Zomato refunded the remaining amount as zomato credit. But the diffrence is bill made me think about the calculations.
Chai is nice. Less sugar packets are given. Samosa and vermicilli is average.
