If you like Fusion cuisine, visit this cafe. It's worth coming to Chai Chillam Chapathi because of perfectly cooked chicken. Get your meal started with good tea.
Fast service is a strong point that plays a great role for the success of this place.
Chai Chillum chapathi is one of the eateries located on the outskirts of cusat campus. Its one of the ideal spot for teenagers and college students. I had been to this place many times with my friends during my college days. The place will be thronged during lunch time and and at night between 7.30 - 9.30 as it is one of the top end spot for college students.
► Ambiance:
Ambiance is good and it gives you a cozy feeling to be here at night. The hotel looks like a hut with the roof made of coconut fronds and the oil lanterns all over inside gives you a pleasant atmosphere to dine with friends at night
► Service:
Service is good. Staffs are polite and attentive
► Signature Dishes
CCC is good for the typical Indian breads like Chappathi, Paratha , Batoora etc. I usually order their kothu porotta whenever i make a visit here. Its really scrumptious and considering its quantity its really worth for what you pay. A Single Kothu paratha easily fills 2 tummies.
Appending to the kothu paratha i have tried their aalu paratha,pepper chicken, and veg fried rice.All were equally nice. I would recommed you to try their kothu paratha and it is the most sough out dish here. It is available in different variants like egg kothu puratha, chicken kothu paratha etc. Their north indian breads like chappathi, batoora are also really good.
► Cost
Cost is reasonable and its costs between 250-300 for two people depending on the dishes ordered.
► A word to the wise
I would recommend this to eatery to all the food aficionados who lives in the vicinity of thrikkakara and cusat campus to try out their toothsome dishes. Its an ideal spot for a quick dinner/lunch.
This is a place where you will get many "chillums" we bought egg chillum which was okay, the place is small hut like set up inside cusat, one thing I found is that its so peacefull and calm, the area is a calm place where there is no disturbance, you can enjoy your chillums with some pineapple fresh lime.{uid:32467254}
