Great Tea, Good Space — But Cleanliness and Care Are Clearly Missing. As a long-time Chaayos regular, I usually walk into their outlets expecting a certain vibe — cozy, well-kept, and comforting. Unfortunately, the F Block CP branch doesn't live up to that standard. In fact, I’d say this is one of the clumsiest and least maintained Chaayos outlets I’ve come across in Delhi NCR. From the moment you step in, it’s hard to ignore the lack of hygiene. Dust patches on the floor, cleaning tools lying in plain sight, and tables that clearly haven’t been sanitized between use. Out of curiosity, I asked the staff why the tables weren't being cleaned regularly. The response? “It’s too crowded most of the time, we don’t get that much time.” That’s disappointing — especially for a brand that caters to tea lovers who expect a relaxed, clean space to unwind. Ironically, the space itself is large and has the potential to be inviting. The seating is ample, and to my surprise, the bathroom was clean — which, sadly, only highlighted the neglect in the main service area. On the positive side, the Sterling guy handling orders was courteous, and the tea and snacks were on point — consistent with what Chaayos is known for. But service, overall, felt just average. One thing worth mentioning: during my last few visits, I noticed a staff member going table to table asking, “How’s the food or tea?” While it's great that they’re trained to engage with customers, the way it’s done feels half-hearted. If you’re going to ask for feedback, make sure it’s meaningful — not just a checkbox on a shift duty list. Also, if you’re visiting with kids, be cautious — the staircase steps leading down are narrow and could be tricky. This branch has the location, space, and the Chaayos name — but without hygiene and sincere service, it’s hard to enjoy the chai. Our experience was extremely disappointing. We visited the outlet around 9:30 AM, only to find out later that there was a power outage. Unfortunately, no one informed us that the café didn’t have a power backup. We placed our order, and upon following up, we were told that we shouldn’t have placed it in the first place. To make matters worse, the staff had no information regarding any customer care contact. We requested to cancel the order from there end but they said they do-not have any provision of doing that nor they know the process about how customers can cancel the order. When we pointed out that they should have informed customers about the situation, the response we received was shockingly unprofessional: “You should have asked us. If it’s dark, you should have understood not to place an order.” This level of service and attitude was completely unexpected from a brand like Chaayos. Very disappointing. I’ll never recommend any one to visit this outlet at least. You charge Shuchi high prices and leave the customers with such bad experiences.
