Chaap De Phatte We recently visited Chaap De Phatte located in Kondhwa. It's a small outlet having an outer as well inner seating area. They specialise in mockmeat aka Soya Chaap and other Indian cuisine. Also, they have introduced some amazing varieties of chaap like Koliwada chaap or Kerala Chilli Fry chaap where they have given chaap a makeover with amazing flavours from our country. Also, the best part is the brand is environmentally conscious and they promote sustainability by using recycled dishes for serving. Wakhra Da Chaap was a flavourful dish where chaap was cooked in a clay oven and tossed in sauces having prominent flavour and veggies. If you enjoy spicy food then definitely go for it. Afghani roll where a super thin roti was stuffed with delicious flavourful smoky chaap tossed in afghani flavours and veggies. It had a cheesy taste to it so it was enjoyable. It was served with mint chutney and dry salad. In tandoor, we tried paneer tikka where soft cottage cheese pieces were marinated in tikka masala and further they were cooked over an intense fire in a tandoor clay oven. We loved the taste. For mains, we tried their Paneer Lababdar with Butter Garlic Naan & Chaap Biryani. Paneer Lababdar was spot on, delicious to the core, with great flavours and a creamy texture. Chaap Biryani was flavourful and simply delicious. We sipped on the lassi and mattha alongside which had the perfect consistency and had the right balance of sweetness. Mattha was super refreshing and in addition to that it aids digestion as well. While they're available on third-party apps for orders you can also dine in at their outlet in Kondhwa. With the increasing popularity of soya chaap as mock meat or meat alternative, you definitely have to indulge in this flavourful treat from Chaap De Phatte.
