I recently visited Hotel Central Café for breakfast and had a decent overall experience, though there are a few things worth noting. The ambience is quite good — clean, well-maintained, and comfortable for a casual dine-in. It has a simple, relaxed vibe that makes it a nice spot for small groups or solo visitors. I tried the dosa, poori, and chilly parotta. The dosa was crisp and served with standard chutneys and sambar. While the chutneys were fresh, the sambar lacked depth in flavor. The poori was soft and paired with a decent potato masala. Among the three, the chilly parotta stood out — spicy, flavorful, and cooked with a generous amount of masala. However, it was a bit oily, which might not suit everyone. The service was fairly quick and the staff was courteous, but the pricing felt on the higher side for what was offered. The portion sizes were average, and while the food was tasty, it didn’t quite justify the cost compared to similar places nearby. Overall, Hotel Central Cafe has good food and ambience, but the higher prices might make you think twice if you're looking for better value for money. A nice experience, but not the most budget-friendly option.
