Today, my friend and I went to Celestial Cafe for a meal. After placing our order, we noticed that two male employees were staring at us in an inappropriate and uncomfortable manner. They were laughing and continuously looking at us in a way that made us feel extremely uneasy. Even after our food arrived, their behavior did not stop. They kept laughing and staring at us with what felt like disrespectful and offensive intentions. It honestly felt as if they might come over and start speaking to us, which made the situation even more uncomfortable. Because of this constant discomfort, we were not even able to eat properly and eventually had to ask for our food to be packed. When I complained to the older gentleman who came to collect the bill, instead of taking our concern seriously, he defended those two employees. This response was deeply disappointing. Both my friend and I are Muslim, and we were wearing hijab. I cannot help but question whether their behavior and the lack of support from the management were influenced by this fact. No one has the right to behave in such a disrespectful manner toward anyone, regardless of their religion or attire. This is West Bengal, a place that stands for inclusivity and respect. I sincerely request the management of Celestial Cafe to take strict action against such behavior to ensure that no other woman has to experience this kind of harassment. I would also like to warn other women to be cautious while visiting Celestial Cafe until appropriate action is taken. Every woman deserves to feel safe, respected, and comfortable in public spaces.

Madam ,We shall definitely speak to our team on this however we welcome all nationalities and have immense respect for all nationalities and we are a 4 year old cafe and have served all religions in the last 4 years and have never come across such complaint earlier ...all our team members are well behaved and we have good feedback about them however since you felt uncomfortable we would definitely speak to the team and shall ensure you will better if you step in next time ..at celestial cafe we always take pride to honor our clients and treat them with utmost respect and priority.
