If you look through the visitors' comments, the staff is friendly at this restaurant. Fast service is something that guests would like to improve here. But based on the users' feedback on Google, Cecilia Beach Shack deserved 4.
Very bad experience, there was no paneer in kadai paneer. Roti was pathetic, and he refised midway to serve any roti. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Cecilia’s Beach Shack was an absolute disaster and hands down the most pathetic restaurant experience I’ve had in years. It started the moment some staff guy rudely walked up to me with “bro kit zaie” (“what do you want”)—no manners, no basic hospitality, nothing. When I asked for rosé wine, he stared at me like I’d spoken some alien language, clearly hearing the word rosé for the first time in his life. Then he confidently said he’d show me a red wine bottle, only to come back to the table with a chilled white wine—complete clown show. The wine was served in a glass that honestly looks like something used to hand out refreshments to daily wage workers. While taking the food order, he had a tray/menu jammed under his armpit, looking like a patty stuck in a burger—disgusting and unprofessional. Without ever being told, he dumped the starters and main course together, completely ruining the meal flow. To add to the insult, he placed the food on top of the menu while serving, absolutely disrespecting the restaurant’s own name. The food was equally horrible—served cold, tasted barely 4/10, and the chicken chilli fry felt half-cooked and unsafe to eat. For this kind of trash service and food, the rates are ridiculously high, and the ambience is poor and depressing. I am definitely not suggesting anyone to come here. Save your money, save your mood, and save your appetite. Without exaggeration, this is the worst restaurant I’ve visited in several years. Total waste.
