This restaurant has so much going for it - great indoor decor, great outdoor cabanas, the smell of orange blossoms wafting through the air, and genuinely good Moroccan food (well, at least a reasonable part of the menu does feature Maghrib cuisine). If only they'd get their priorities right. This was my fourth visit here, and there has been a gradual and steady decline in the general level of service and hospitality. The first couple of times, we were welcomed with stuffed dates and orange blossom milk, and there were a few other bells and whistles. Now, the service is no different from any other restaurant - no ceremony, no 'welcome', and a high likelihood of a raucous corporate dinner party ruining the ambience and tranquility. I don't complain about the food itself - this time, we had a spinach and feta briouat as an appetizer, a lamb tagine and a duck confit as mains and poached pears and qatayef as dessert, all executed competently.
