I recently visited Casa Rasa in Kannur and had a wonderful experience. I ordered Nool Porotta and Chicken Afghani Curry, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich, and everything was well-prepared. The service was excellent—despite the place being crowded, the staff was efficient and attentive, with no delay in serving the food. The ambience was great, creating a nice and comfortable atmosphere, especially on the first floor, where the seating was spacious and enjoyable. The only downside is that there are limited parking spaces available in front of the restaurant, so it might be a bit tricky to find a spot during peak hours. Overall, Casa Rasa is a great place for a tasty meal with good service and a pleasant environment. Highly recommended. It really astonishes me to see how Casa Rasa’s patrons who would have invested so much into this venture, would allow for such utter mismanagement. We visited on a Sunday and there was a bit of crowd. The staff present were least bothered about the oncoming customers and there was no system in place to receive customers and assign them a table. When we eventually found a table after 20 mins, we had to call multiple times to place the order. After placing the order, we had to wait a whopping 45mins for the food to be served. There is absolutely no coordination among the staff, the kitchen on the ground floor is very noisy with orders being read loudly and people scrambling. There is no manager around to oversee the operation. Delivery and take away orders are given preference over dine-in, we could see several disgruntled customers leaving due to very late and delayed service. We even had to wait 15 mins for the bill to arrive after multiple calls to the server. Even though the food was good, It’s really sad to see how a promising eatery be reduced to this due to utter mismanagement by the patrons. Give this restaurant a miss and save yourself from a disappointing evening. We recently dined at CASA RASA KANNUR for a family celebration and were thoroughly impressed with the entire experience. The menu offered a wide variety of dishes, catering to all tastes. We particularly enjoyed the Mix sheekh kabab, which was a perfect blend of flavors and beautifully presented. The dessert selection was also delightful, with the blueberry frozen yogurt standing out as a must-try. The ambiance was elegant and inviting, with tasteful decor and soft lighting that created a relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant's design allowed for comfortable family dining, with enough space between tables to ensure privacy. The service was impeccable. The staff were attentive and courteous, ensuring that our needs were met promptly. Our waiter provided excellent recommendations and was knowledgeable about the menu. Our overall experience at Casa rasa was outstanding. The combination of delicious food, pleasant ambiance, and top-notch service made it a memorable evening. The prices were reasonable for the quality of food and service provided. We would highly recommend the restaurant for anyone looking for a fine dining experience suitable for families.
