Tucked just a stone’s throw away from the buzzing Tito’s Lane, Casa Portuguesa Restaurante is a surprisingly peaceful escape. The moment you step in, the place welcomes you with the charm of an old Goan villa—rustic interiors, cozy corners, and that unmistakable homely vibe that makes you want to linger a little longer. I tried the Chicken Cafreal with Roti, and it was spot on—authentic, flavorful, and cooked just right. For a change, I went with the Goan Chicken Thali, and I’m glad I did. It was not just delicious but also hearty and satisfying. A special shoutout to Prajakta, our wonderful host, who recommended trying the new drinks on the menu. They turned out to be a refreshing surprise and paired perfectly with the meal. To wrap it all up, I indulged in a slice of Bibinca, and it was the perfect sweet ending—rich, layered, and full of flavor. The ambiance of the place, with its rustic charm and peaceful setting, makes it feel like a hidden gem. Whether you're looking to relax after a long day or enjoy some authentic Goan flavors, Casa Portuguesa is definitely worth a visit.
