I was treated like worst and cashier wasn’t ready to answer. I enquired about Jain food and he replied no such foods are available here.

I told him idli, dosa dahi vada etc., he replied nothing is in Jain. Such employees will make your shop shut one day

Quaint and faultless in design, decor which takes you into a little part of the South, Carnatic Cafe ticks all the right boxes on quality, food presentation, price (it’s in the food court) and ambience. The place filled up rather quick towards 6pm and looked like this form of cuisine is quite popular I consider, sambar and chutneys to be good indicator of the food to follow. Both posted good standards. We ordered standard Idli and Vada. Both were good. Malleswaram (Dosa) was a fav amongst most orders being called out. Filter coffee, again another metric, passed the test. A reasonable menu on the offering. DONT TRY THE MILK SHAKES. They are based on ice cream and milk mixes. The ice cream is nice, but the quantity is probably less in the Milk Shake - so even after we rejected the first the second one Failed the test. We felt saddened and a little despondent about their ability to manage simple other stuff, so the Cafe part is a tad to be down played. Thus the lower rating So presumably stick to the South Indian basics. We were impressed by their packaging which was with using natural ‘patta’ base.
