Come here for good spicy chicken, butter chicken and masala dosa if you are hungry. Many visitors point out that the staff is courteous at this cafeteria. Terrific service is something guests like here. There is cool atmosphere at Calorie Canteen, as people find it. But google users haven't given this place a high rating.

Once you're here , just have a blunder that you've chosen this place .. don't come here to stop your cravings ... Behad kharab service aur kharab khana .. jb bhi aao kuch nhi milta ... Even the staff's behaviour is not appropriate..budhau khusad h... Calorie Canteen is one the good canteens of NIT Rourkela. It is not so bad. Price is reasonable, the main fact. I would like to suggest one item most i.e. Lassi. Everytime I come to visit my alma mater, I try lassi. The day, I am writing this review, also I took lassi. Otherwise, chicken items are not so bad, moderately towards good. The things I didn't like here are chicken curry and chicken biryani. This is my personal opinion. Although a little number of my batchmates also liked the biryani. But for me, the said biryani is something else, but not biryani. Overall, service is good, not so late. Overall foods are good. So my fellow nitians, go for calorie canteen, ( though you are not waiting for my appraisal or approval ) for your birthday parties or anything. Cheers.
