Review for Victoria Chats – Hennur, Bangalore Rating: (3/5) I recently visited Victoria Chats located near Hennur to try out some of their popular North Indian-style chaats and savories like Dahi Puri, Pani Puri, Bhel Puri, Vada Pav, and Parota. The food presentation was quite tempting, and I must admit, the Dahi Puri and Ragda Chaat tasted delicious and were loaded with flavor. It’s a good spot if you’re just craving some quick, chatpata snacks. However, I was deeply disappointed by the hygiene standards. As someone who cares about food safety, I couldn’t ignore the fact that the person behind the counter was not wearing a hair cap or gloves while mixing the masala with bare hands. This was quite off-putting, especially since hygiene is critical in places where food is prepared and served in open counters. I’ve even attached a video to highlight this concern – it’s something the management should seriously look into. Pros: Tasty chaat Good variety on the menu Affordable pricing Cons: Poor hygiene practices Staff not following basic food safety norms (no gloves or hair caps) Slightly cramped and not very clean surroundings Verdict: If you're okay overlooking hygiene and just want a quick flavorful bite, this place might satisfy your taste buds. But if cleanliness matters to you, you might want to skip it or wait until they improve their standards. My suggestion to Victoria Chats: Please train your staff in basic hygiene protocols. Absolutely horrible pav bhaji. The bhaji was old and smelled bad. You can make out that it was at least a day old and they stored it in the fridge and never bothered to check before sending it for an online order. Ordered an extra pav and that was missing too. The puri we ordered was supposed to be sattu stuffed. That was missing too. The delivery person also told us while giving the order that it was a horrible place. Best to avoid. Called restaurant and no one picked up. Service: Delivery Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 1
