Yesterday, my son Gogol and I ventured to Calcutta Bakery Cafe for a leisurely late lunch. Arriving at around 3 PM, we found the cafe comfortably quiet, with just one other table occupied, allowing us to settle in without delay. The ambiance was warm and inviting, boasting a cozy charm that set the perfect mood for a relaxed meal.Our intention was to sample a variety of dishes to cater to my son’s taste, so we chose the Chicken Bao, a generous serving of French fries, and a Chicken Sizzler. The food did not disappoint. The Chicken Bao was soft and flavorful, although it could benefit from a wider selection of fillings to elevate the experience. The French fries were impressively plentiful—enough to satisfy three hungry diners—crispy, golden, and seasoned to perfection. The highlight was undoubtedly the Chicken Sizzler, which arrived sizzling with rich aromas, offering a delightful blend of textures and flavors.
