You can have tasty chicken, tuna sandwiches and quiche at Cakes. Have a nice time here and share good chocolate cakes, chocolate praline and pudding with your friends. If you look through the visitors' comments, the staff is patient at this place. Spectacular service is something clients agree upon here. You are to be pleasantly impressed with attractive prices at this spot.

Their address on both google maps and zomato is out of date. The uber driver complained that we would roam all of Kolkata but still won't be able to find this shop. Asking around did not help, as it's nowhere near the addresses mentioned on the internet. Unsurprisingly, their contact numbers too are unreachable. Deciding to not give up on my brother's birthday and having heard about this place a lot - after roaming almost all of Kankurgachi, I was able to locate the shop in a dark and shabby corner of the road. Relaying my problem to the staff was fruitless, as they failed to figure out how it's their problem.
Their truffle eggless special cake is known to be one of the bestsellers. I asked for a piece to try it out - not available.
- "Sir, we have this pastry which is eggless, you can try this one."
- "But is it truffle? The name says it has nuts on it. How can this be a reliable tasting for the original cake?"
- "NO SIR!! This is eggless, you try this one!!"
- (Facepalm) "Okay, give me a piece.."
- "Oh and Sir, you will have to eat outside as we do not allow customers to eat inside the shop - (thus denying the shop its sole purpose of serving its customers :) )"

One of the most average and overpriced cakes out there. Wasted my time and energy searching for the shop, and they couldn't care less about having a decent customer experience. Should have taken the sign from the universe and stopped searching for this shop right away and given up. Literally, any other decent confectionary will provide you with a much better cake for the price of Rs 900.
