I ordered a cake for my mother’s 50th birthday. When I called they wanted me to text all info. I sent them very detailed text messages with pictures of what I wanted. I received a call a couple days before I was supposed to pick it up where they said they didn’t understand what I wanted. I drew a very rough sketch and sent to them. When I picked up the cake we had to wait while they finished the cake and they had my sisters name spelled wrong and the lyrics on the cake wrong. It was a Bon Jovi cake since my sis is a huge fan. The flower work on the top should have been buttercream but they made them flat and out of fondant. The sword on the top fell apart the second I put it in the car and in the 5 minute drive to the house the cake started to bubble at the filling in the middle of the cake. I asked for a 2 layer bottom tier and it was the weirdest layered cake I have seen. There were 3 layers and they were not even at all. Which is why the cake started to fall apart before her party. We also had the top tier made with red velvet cake since that is her favorite. It was not red velvet but what tasted like vanilla cake that had been died red. The vanilla cake at the bottom was ok flavor wise but nothing special. Tasted like a boxed cake with a ganache filling that was way too thick. I called and spoke to someone at the shop and they told me that because of the heat the cake fell apart and then told me that it had to be refridgerated, which I had already done. They also argued with me about the lyrics around the bottom of the cake, saying that I gave them the wrong lyrics until I sent them the text with the lyrics written and showed them exactly what was wrong. I told them this was a special occasion and I was very upset and they didn’t care. They wanted me to come back to have a new sheet of lyrics printed. They basically tried to blame the cake failure on me. I paid $130 dollars for this cake and it was a complete disaster. I would NEVER put your trust in this bakery as this cake came out horrible. I wish I could rate this place a 0 but that is not an option. I am uploading pictures for people to see exactly how horrible this came out. SUCKS
