A line of shaded sun beds just outside made us stop ( no charge if you eat and drink). Staff were very friendly and attentive and all the food and drinks were really up to the mark. Couldn’t be better situated on the beach front. Nearby activities: Everything that a beach has to offer. Walkability: Easy and enjoyable beach walk Food and drinks: Cocktails well made and a large selection of beers and non-alcoholic. Noteworthy details: Plenty of seats in the shade or out of it. Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Great value

FAKE GOOD REVIEWS ALERT This place offers people a free beer for 5* reviews. Believe the lower ratings. Owner is rude and arrogant. Misunderstood a situation, berated me for his misinterpretation and when I tried to explain he seemed to get more irate. Pretty atrocious customer service and can only think it’s still going because of the potentially deceptive reviews. That, and the beds/shades are some of the best on the beach and are nice for keeping out the sun.

I had a great and memorable stay at Cafe Del Mar. The business owner, Kennedy, is a rockstar (ask him about one of his many stories) and always making sure his guests needs are met. The team there were always happy to provide recommendations of where to go (even driving us there sometimes!) and entertainment was never far away. I’d happily recommend staying here and when I make the trip again, will be sure to stay. Thanks Kennedy and Team! Service: 5
