I visited this heritage-style Italian café in Pondicherry after hearing a lot of buzz. The ambience truly lives up to the hype charming, calm, and beautifully done. While the pricing felt fair and portions were satisfying, the taste didn’t quite match the expectations. It was just okay overall, and I hope they put a bit more focus on enhancing the flavors and maintaining their original quality. We visited Café Xtasi for dinner on a weekend and found it to be quite lively, with most tables occupied. The staff kindly guided us to the first-floor seating area. The café has a unique alien-themed ambiance, which creates a cool and interesting atmosphere. For our meal, we ordered pasta, a chicken burger, and veg fingers. Unfortunately, we felt that these dishes did not meet our expectations. Perhaps Café Xtasi is more well-known for its pizzas, though we were not in the mood for pizza at the time. Based on other reviews, their pizzas seem to be a popular choice, but I cannot personally comment on them. We also tried some beverages, including a pomegranate-based drink and the Summer Breeze, but we found them to be a bit too sweet for our taste. Overall, Café Xtasi offers a vibrant ambiance and seems like a great spot to hang out, especially for those looking to enjoy their pizzas. However, based on our experience, the non-pizza items might not be their strongest offerings.
