Cute cafe. We discovered this cafe during our trek to Jhakoo temple. Setup is quite nice with excellent views. They have decent menu options and overall vibe is great. Must visit if you are in Shimla & traveling to Jhakoo temple. Enjoy your meal with great views. We wanted to have lunch somewhere near the hanuman mandir and found this restaurant on Google. Post reading the review, we decided to visit this restaurant for lunch and chose the option of travelling by road. But our taxi was allowed only up to a junction bcoz the last 1 km approach road to this restaurant is very narrow and steep that only the local alto taxis are allowed who charge an exorbitant Rs 700 (return fare) for just that 1 km. Inspite of such cost we took the taxi and reached the location only to find that the restaurant is very close to the mandir; which means you can go there by the rope way as well. We need to climb 50-60 steep steps to reach the restaurant (from the road side) or climb down 10 steps (from Mandir side) to reach this restaurant. But it's absolutely worth all the trouble..!! The ambience was very nice and catchy; glass on all sides making the place look elegant. The place was very clean neat and cozy. It can accommodate maybe about 50 guests at a time. Menu is crispy and helps decide quickly. Sumptuous quantity. Quality of food was great; very tasty. Service was prompt. Overall a nice place and should visit if you want pure veg food. Only issue (can be ignored), hand wash is inside the wash room; wash room is outside the restaurant! I visited Jakhu temple with my husband and on his recommendation we went to Cafe Under Tree. We ordered a strawberry shake, hazelnut cold coffee and mushroom corn delight. I am glad that we went there, food was really sumptuous, and everything was totally worth it. Food quality was top notch and the calm ambience was "Cherry on top". Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹400–600
