Visited this place on New Year's. It's good for those who like loud music. The place is a little small and hence the tables are too close to each other. However nice cheap booze , good food and lively atmosphere. A good place for youngsters.

Café toons is the perfect sports bar. Talking about the ambience, the cartoons on the walls were awesome and I loved the music they played. After renovation, the look has been completely changed but the feel remains the same. We just dropped by for a couple of beers after a long day of shopping so cannot comment much on food. Service was nice. All in all, a nice place to watch sports and chat.

When you begin to list some old trademarked place of Pune, i am sure you wouldnt leave out Cafe Toons! And it has always been my go to place for a chill afternoon or say a relaxed evening. It is surprising how over the years they have managed to maintain the quality of the place. One plus point is they dont have entry scenes and unlike the over hyped places now-a-days they entertain stags and mixed groups alike. The steaks are something to die for, barbeque chicken steak being my personal choice. You can call for the fries, one of the best in town. I am personally very chosey with fries, needs to have the perfect salt content and the crunch.
The fish and chips and peri peri steaks are recommended too.
The bar menu is super pocket friendly and you can even chill over a bottle of london pilsner. Very few places serve LP bdw :)
Prices are very reasonable, music super good and food, staff and ambience cant be complained about. What else do you need?
