Really good Tibetan food near the Golden Temple We stopped at The Tibet Kitchen, Bylakuppe while visiting the Namdroling Golden Temple, just to try some authentic Tibetan food — and it turned out to be a great choice. We had chicken momos, chicken thukpa, and chicken shapta, and everything tasted really good. The food felt fresh, portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable. Service was quick and friendly. They also had a great variety of mocktails and frappes, which was a nice surprise and complemented the meal well. Overall, we had a great time and really enjoyed the experience. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re around the Golden Temple area. I loved the food here. With first bite one might feel it to be bland but as you progress it will start to feel cozy and homely and tasty. There is no spices at all. But it was great. We had chicken thukpa, american choupsey and Schezwan momos. Both thukpa and choupsey were awesome but momos were nothing special. Their quantity is great. One bowl is enough for 2 people. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: ₹400–600 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Mimi and our server Jigwa were so kind and accommodating of my entire family! They noticed my dog crying as we left him in our cab and quickly offered to seat him with us at a table away from other guests. They anticipated that my father, who finds it difficult to walk, would need to use the washroom after a long drive and immediately provided an elegant solution to take him to the washroom with minimal walking. Quick and intuitive thinking on the manager/owner Mimi’s part. For a family of 4 and a dog, we had a lot of dietary requests and Jigwa, our server, was so patient and helpful with all our needs. The chicken thenthuk, veg steamed momos, chilli garlic noodles, and stir fry greens were super yummy! If you’re ordering cold coffee - order it sugar less and add sugar yourself.
