You can come to this restaurant after seeing Santa Cruz Basilica. At this place you can order the Indian cuisine. Cafe Tamara is rated on Google 4.6 by its visitors.
Coming here for the high rating but a little disappointed. Non-A/C cafe so it can be really warm and hot despite seated beside the air-cooler. Ordered the Kheema Gotala which comes with Mutton meat, taste fine but the ratio of toast with Kheema is off balanced. Recommend add-on toast or something else to go with the Kheema. The Golden Latte is basically Americano with Turmeric, a novelty and only if you like turmeric otherwise the many other coffee options might be better choice. I'm actually looking forward to the main course but unfortunately only breakfast available due to the time of my visit. While spending several weeks in Fort Kochi, I was always looking for new breakfast options. Cafe Tamara is in a nice building, although the rustic paint on the walls look had actually paint flaking off in large quantities. I ordered the Big Breakfast. Actually I didn't really like the flavours, and the bacon was really weird. The menu says juice, and tea or coffee but in fact the coffee is instant so had to order it separately. I stayed a while and also had a ginger lime which was nice but too much ice. The service was quite friendly. Overall I wouldn't rate this place very highly. I just didn't think the food was very good compared to other options. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: ₹600–800 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
