Besides Rani Jheel, visit Cafe Serendipity in the vicinity. Delicious coffee is a decent choice. The accommodating staff reflects the style and character of this cafe. Café Serendipity, lives up to its name. You discover it by serendipity while walking around Ranikhet's beautiful, forested cantonment. An amazingly pretty café, that checks all the boxes, except for value. The interiors are bohemian with lemon-yellow walls that remind you of cafés in Frenchtown, Pondicherry. Lovely paintings and artwork dot the two, interconnected rooms inside. Some tables sit under a brightly striped sun-awning on the cobbled, tree-surrounded courtyard of the beautiful colonial building which houses the Serendipity. The potato puff I ordered for a late breakfast was amazing. Not so, the supposedly Blue Tokai cappuccino. Or, maybe the paper cup in which it was delivered ruined its taste. A word to the owners, expensive or moderately priced beverages are best served in white crockery that enhances its looks and taste. We’re delighted that you enjoyed the café’s ambience and especially our potato puff — it’s one of our favourites too! We truly appreciate your feedback on pricing — our baked items come all the way from one of the finest artisanal bakeries in the country, and bringing them fresh up to Ranikhet does add to the cost, though we do our best to keep it reasonable. As for the cappuccino served in a paper cup, that was done purely from a hygiene standpoint, especially during busy hours, but we take your suggestion in the right spirit and will work on improving presentation whenever possible. We hope to welcome you back soon for another relaxed morning under the awning at Serendipity.

Warm cozy cafe over looking Nar Singh Stadium. The staff the food and the service are exceptional and to too it off there's the good music, all combined to make the best weekend retreat. The collection of food is limited but the quality is good and hyper clean. Perfect for a Sunday morning.
