A truly local gem! We visited Café Samrat for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised by the authentic Goan experience. No tourists around — just locals enjoying a hearty start to their day, which says a lot about the place. It’s crowded and fast-paced, but that’s part of its charm. We had the best Ros Omelette of our trip — honestly, one of the best we’ve ever had in Goa. The Chicken Xacuti was lip-smacking, packed with spice and flavor, and both dishes were served with fresh Poi. We wrapped it up with a Special Tea, which was the perfect finish. And guess what — our entire breakfast (Ros Omelette, Chicken Xacuti, Poi, Cold Drink & Special Tea) cost us just ₹200! Amazing value for money and truly satisfying. If you're in Goa and craving an authentic, pocket-friendly local breakfast, this place is a must-visit. It’s the most delightful Ros Omelette and kadak paav (not Poie) place in North Goa. A very rustic, functional place frequented by locals. Be ready to share your table with others, but the experience is worth the wait for the most brilliant Ros omelette you will ever have. Do insist on kadak paav for a perfect combination. Also try samosa and mirchi bhaji. If the Kadak paav is out of stock, wait for it.
