Sadly, the food here has become quite mediocre. Used to dine at this place about a decade ago, n back then the experience was truly memorable. The food always hit the right spot,whether it was the almond broccoli soup or their sizzlers, everything felt well thought out and exquisitely prepared. Coming to our recent visit, the sizzler was a major letdown. It was literally soaked in oil. A good sizzler should never feel greasy like that. I’ve had far better sizzlers at places like Cafe mojo even years ago, but this one was disappointing beyond expectation. A blazing hot sizzler loaded with palm oil, battered zucchini, carrot, broccoli, n mushrooms just didn’t work. We eventually packed it up simply coz we couldn’t bring ourselves to finish it. It honestly felt like the care n attention...the TLC,that the chefs once put into the food is missing now. Those days seem long gone. The service was equally underwhelming. Earlier, the staff would actually engage with u, suggest dishes, n make u feel welcome. This time, there was no warmth at all...no smiles, no interaction, just a very indifferent "eat if you want” attitude. It’s sad to see what has happened to a place that once took pride in both food and hospitality. One more thing worth mentioning...oil should be used to saute or cook, not flood the dish. Having vegetables swimming in oil completely ruins the experience. The same goes for salt. Despite clearly giving food instructions, they were not followed. Overall, we walked out disappointed and unsatisfied. We didn’t enjoy the moment here, which is unfortunate for a place that once stood for great food and a pleasant dining experience.
