Kalapani, the moment I read the name I thought of a jail like ambience and was looking forward to go the the place. As I entered the place it didn't look like jail at all. The place had bollywood dialogues hanging from the ceiling and a doodle comic strip depicting a few prisoners who were on a run. I asked the waiter as to where the jail was and he escorted me to this one room which was exactly like a jail. Quite funky, good photo booth, but yet not enough to be called Kalapani. Coming to the food now - the menu was quite diverse and had chef recommendations which were apt. Highly recommend the Chaupati Pizza, Crazy Angry Bird and Dark choco chip waffles. Also tried the lasagna which was not had. All in all, a good place to dine minus the ambience which doesn't go with the name.

One of the best theme cafe in jaipur...new theme of jail....amazing place to hangout with your friends
There is a small jail also where u will find some props like handcuffs,stick, police cap
You can hav fun.with these props or can click pictures
Recently the cafe Kalapani has overtaken by Nibs...so now you will the mouthwatering chocolate dishes there
If you are a chocolate lover than you may go to this place...service was quite slow...food is good

The place is really good in terms of urgency of service and has good variety of Mexican food.Pizza and pasta's are a must to try...cool ambience makes u feel you are in a jail but the food is just the opposite. fun place to go with your gang!
