I was passing through KP on late Sunday night , have always wondered about this small little place tucked away from the main street and thought of giving it a try. Ambiance wise its OK but there is no differentiation for smoking and non smoking area and the whole space stunk of smoke . Initially i thought of leaving but wasn't in mood to find another place to have my dinner. the tables against the building wall have the bright lights which make it difficult to sit for longer.
Coming to food I wanted to try something light and healthy so ordered Veg stir fry but it had tofu which i didn't want so i asked them to replace it with broccoli which was out of stock so they said they could replace tofu with paneer . The dish also contains organic brown rice so i was super excited to try it but the actual dish was a disappointment there were no vegetables like french beans , peas or mushroom . it was green bell paper (shimla mirch ) onion , potato , sweet potato and chewy paneer . more than half of it was potato overload . the only saving grace on that plate was brown rice which was subtle and light. I am rating it 2.5 just for the brown rice.
Upon inquiring about lack of vegetables the reply was what do you want do you want to replace this dish or you want more veggies .. i was like just mention if the dish contains fried potato and sweet potato . I wouldn't have ordered it in the first place.
I didn't order anything else after this debacle. I think USP of this place is its isolation from all the hustle bustle of KP still remaining very close to it. If you really want to sit at a quiet place then it is a great place.
Peaceful place, probably because people don't go..good ambience. And nothing else is good. Food was tasteless, had ordered continental dishes. Not at all worth it.
