Was my first time at this cafe. To my surprise, it was almost full during lunch time. We ordered cheesy garlic bread, they were nice but we had to buy a dip separately for that. A bit expensive!
We visited Cafe Hinge based on its impressive online ratings, but unfortunately, our experience was a letdown. We ordered the white sauce pasta, coffee mocha, and Irish coffee, but the food and drinks failed to impress. The pasta was unappetizing, tasting more like raw maida (flour) than a well-cooked dish. The drinks were also subpar, lacking the richness and flavor we've come to expect from specialty coffee drinks. What's more alarming is that we discovered Cafe Hinge has a policy of offering a 10% discount for every 5-star rating. This raises serious questions about the authenticity of their online reviews. It appears that the ratings are inflated due to this policy, rather than a genuine reflection of the cafe's quality. Based on our experience, we would advise against visiting Cafe Hinge solely based on its Google ratings. Instead, take a closer look at the reviews and be cautious of biased ratings. Hopefully, the cafe will take steps to improve their food and drink quality, rather than relying on incentivized reviews.
