Disappointing Mexican Shawarma Experience I recently ordered what was supposed to be a delicious Mexican shawarma, but unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. From the first bite, I was hit with an overpowering sweetness that completely overshadowed any savory or spicy notes I was expecting from a shawarma. It felt more like eating a dessert than a hearty, flavorful meal. The balance of flavors was totally off—too much sugar and not enough of the signature savory or smoky flavors you usually find in this dish. To make matters worse, the service was equally disappointing. The order took longer than expected to arrive, and when it finally did, it was lukewarm at best. The presentation was lackluster, and there was no attention to detail that you’d expect from a place specializing in such a popular dish. Overall, this was a very underwhelming experience, and I won’t be returning. If you’re looking for a good Mexican shawarma, I highly recommend finding a better spot because this one missed the mark on both taste and service.
