Very poor service and no willingness to help. I went to Café Edelweiss, on the bridge opposite the Udaipur City Palace Museum, just to have a chocolate shake and charge my phone for a few minutes, as my battery was dead. From the beginning, everything felt uncomfortable. They took my phone to charge it somewhere else, even though I clearly said I needed to keep it with me while having my drink. I asked to sit near a power point: there was a standing fan plugged in that was not even working, next to a free table. I politely asked if I could unplug the fan for 5–10 minutes to charge my phone while drinking my shake. The staff reacted in a cold and unhelpful way, asking exactly how long I needed, instead of showing any flexibility or common sense. I paid and left annoyed. What makes it worse is that just a few meters away there are rooftops that are cheaper, a little higher up, with much better prices and spectacular views, which I’m uploading now so people can see the difference. Compared to that, this place offers neither good service nor good value for money. I wouldn’t recommend it.
