Amol Naik is arguably the best chef in Goa. He is authentic, fun and doesn't shy away from experimenting. There's no menu, every day he goes to the market to get the catch of the day and then decides what he will serve his customers. We were served a shallow fried Trevally with an interesting salad, fried potatoes and a prawns cocktail. All so perfect. Ideally one should message the owner what you want or ask him what's available before walking in. He doesn't serve alcohol but we are free to bring our own bottles. What a marvelous experience this was. I found this place through Google Maps, and it was truly a find that made our trip magical. A passionate and homely place with an excellent choice of retro music for good vibes. There's no menu, only the freshest catch of the day prepared by the chef/owner in customized ways that suit both the customers and the fish's true flavour.
