Located in a bustling lane on Colaba Causeway you will be not be disappointed by the food here. Small, simple and value for money is what describes Basilico. Gives you old world charm vibes. Staff is very helpful always. Valet parking available. Recommendation for vegetarians: Not sure Vegetarian offerings: Vegetarian menu or section Parking options: Valet

Cafe Basilico - Colaba has lost its QUALITY & SERVICE. We felt like the most unwelcomed customers. The staff was not friendly at all. Basilico.. One was of the wel known Cafe based out in South Mumbai, I have been visiting this place from 2007, the food then was outstanding... I had my special day we plan to visit Cafe Basilico - Colaba" from Malad - It took us almost 2 hours of traffic to reach this place.. We ordered their signature pasta "Basilicos Penne Paprika ( requested to keep little more creamy) and ordered a Garlic Bread", the pasta which came was firstly very Spicy and the quantity was hardly anything with no cream in the Pasta as you can see in the picture.....The Garlic bread was burnt, I asked the caption if I can have a word with the chef, reply was chef doesn't make anything his assistant take care of this and he is on break, so can't help you... I would rate this place with 1 star as this place and customer courtesy is not more present, this experience has left us really disappointed. We checked in to a restaurant called "Poco Loco Tapas & Bar".. which was the best in place of "Cafe Basilico - Colaba" NEVER EVER WILL VISIT THIS PLACE.
