Visited Café Asad early morning, specifically to try their famous Ros Omlette, and let me tell you—this is easily one of the best Ros Omlettes I’ve ever had! The dish was perfect in every way: a fluffy omelette drenched in a rich, flavour-packed chicken xacuti gravy that carried authentic Goan aromas and just the right amount of spiciness. Every bite felt comforting, satisfying, and true to what a classic Goan breakfast should be. If you’re in Taleigao and craving a proper Goan-style breakfast, Café Asad is definitely a must-visit. I recently discovered Cafe Asad through a friend’s recommendation, and I am so glad I did! It’s a small place in Taleigao market with a simple rustic vibe. The food is amazing. I tried the mix bhaji pav and ros omelette and both were absolutely delicious. A must-visit spot for tasty local food!
