Delightful dining experience at Papaya! Visited Papaya in Lower Parel recently and had a wonderful time. We ordered the Pad Thai and Shao Mai Crispy Chilli Chicken - both were excellent. The Pad Thai had great flavor balance with just the right amount of tanginess and texture. The Shao Mai Crispy Chilli Chicken dumplings were absolutely delicious - perfectly crafted with a crispy exterior and flavorful chicken filling with a nice spicy kick. Special mention to Joy, our server, who was absolutely delightful throughout our visit. Attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. The service really elevated the entire dining experience. Great spot for Asian cuisine in Lower Parel - would definitely recommend and return! So we were very much excited for hot pot bt the terrible thing had happened there was a cockroach in our tray of veggies. We asked the manager to come bt he said coming n pretended to be busy bt he didnt come even after we paid the bill. This makes me think of hygiene issue in the kitchen and the service. I had worst experience here on christmas day , i went there to make moment special but my mood was spoilt as food i ordered wasnt in stock , they were low on staff every dish took 30 mins delay and dessert was most horrible one . It was so salty and uncooked . As well as the wontons were low on filling with no taste . I felt like money wasted and didnt feel like i was in pa pa ya . They really need to match the standard of bkc pa pa ya. I would recommend the owner to really work on staff capacity and taste of food. Also after i left the place post my dinner for 2 days i had horrible allergy with spots on my skin . So i am not sure about the hygiene as well at the kitchen of the restaurant. I would really want someone from restaurant to reach me out due to such a horrible experience i had. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹800–1,000
