The best view of a restaurant , especially if the water levels are low or medium. Minimum table charges if you want to take the closest tables form the riverbed side. Folks are very smart in selling the most expensive drink and food. Food was juat ok, service average. But place was packed with people and I am sure evening will be have wait period. There is 2-3 parking spots that are free and opp the house owners are providing parking at cost which is better rather leaving car on the street. Service: 3

The table booking charge itself is fixed at ₹6000. Cocktails were very disappointing – the liquor tasted cheap and diluted. For example, the Whiskey Sour was served in a fancy cocktail glass but made with just 30 ml of Red Label, making the drink feel watered down and low in value. Most of the so-called “fancy cocktails” were served in margarita glasses, but the actual quantity (alcohol + mixers) was hardly 60–70 ml in total. The food too was quite average — both the quality and quantity were underwhelming. You can find much better food at any other cafe. Overall, I would not recommend this café. Service: 1

Extremely Disappointed with the Experience at Café 1947, ManaliI had high expectations from Café 1947 considering its name and popularity, but unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of disappointing.We waited 30 minutes just to get the menu, and another 45+ minutes after placing our order, with no communication or updates from the staff. When we politely raised a concern, we received a cold one-word response: “sorry”, with a blank expression that made us feel like we were inconveniencing them rather than being valued customers. It genuinely felt like we were begging for basic service, which was the worst part.What’s even more disheartening is that the staff seemed highly attentive to tables with high bills, completely ignoring the rest. This kind of selective service is unprofessional and unacceptable, especially for a café that claims to be premium.Café 1947 might have the ambiance and reputation, but they urgently need to rethink their approach to customer service. A name or location alone won’t bring people back—respect and basic hospitality will.
