Cafe 1947 in Manali offers an exceptional dining experience that perfectly balances delicious comfort food with a profound display of integrity. Our visit was highlighted by the outstanding quality of their menu, particularly the coffee, which was expertly brewed and provided a perfect warm start, and the burger, which was juicy, well-seasoned, and genuinely one of the best we've enjoyed recently. However, what truly sets Cafe 1947 apart is the honesty of its staff. Hours after leaving the cafe, we realized we had mistakenly left a valuable bag behind. We called with low expectations, but the staff had found the bag, kept it secure, and returned it to us immediately, turning a potential disaster into a heartwarming experience. This level of ethical service, coupled with the great food and ambiance, makes Cafe 1947 an absolute must-visit destination in Manali—we highly recommend it not just for the excellent fare, but for the peace of mind that comes from supporting such an honest establishment.

The best view of a restaurant , especially if the water levels are low or medium. Minimum table charges if you want to take the closest tables form the riverbed side. Folks are very smart in selling the most expensive drink and food. Food was juat ok, service average. But place was packed with people and I am sure evening will be have wait period. There is 2-3 parking spots that are free and opp the house owners are providing parking at cost which is better rather leaving car on the street. Service: 3
