This was probably my third or fourth visit to Café Rumba at Palolem Beach. Smack in the middle of the main alley road, this place is a go-to spot for breakfast, brunch, evening snacks, or dinner — basically anytime you're hungry. From the vibe and atmosphere, it feels like a close-knit, possibly family-run restaurant. Service was good, though like any laid-back beach café, good food takes patience and time. The overall vibe of the place is quite relaxed and welcoming. Food highlights: The Vindaloo was a bit too spicy for my taste. The Honey Ginger Lemon drink was perfectly balanced and refreshing. The Chocolate Shake was underwhelming — it felt like store-bought chocolate powder mixed with hot liquid and served. Overall, every visit to Café Rumba has been a positive experience for me, and it's a place I would gladly keep coming back to whenever I’m in Palolem.
