Went to Butterwala & Co. recently for breakfast and it’s definitely earning a spot on my regular rotation. The vibe here creates a perfect balance between a modern bistro and a nostalgic Irani café—I absolutely loved the black-and-white geometric floor tiles and the warm, woven hanging lights that make the space feel cozy yet spacious. As for the food, you strictly cannot leave without trying the Chicken Keema. It is incredibly flavourful and hearty, served topped with a half-fry egg that adds a richness you didn't know you needed. It pairs perfectly with their pao, which has that ideal buttered, crispy outer layer while staying soft inside. To complement it down, the Special Chai Kadak is legit—frothy, hot, and hits the spot perfectly. It’s an "All Day Breakfast" spot, so you can get your Bun Maska - Tea fix anytime. They also have a nice outdoor seating area if you prefer fresh air with your chai. The bakery counter inside is stocked with Mawa cakes and biscuits if you want to grab something for the road.
