Extremely disappointed with the overall experience. The place is overhyped and overpriced. For the kind of prices they charge, the service is very poor. Staff are not friendly, barely understand basic requests, and seem completely untrained. The cleanliness was terrible – dirty tables, unclean floor, and an overall unhygienic feel. Definitely not the kind of place you’d want to relax or enjoy a meal in. Despite the fancy name and location near Jama Masjid, this cafe doesn’t live up to expectations at all. The food is average, the ambience is below standard, and the service is frustratingly slow. Not recommended at all. There are much better places nearby. Total waste of time and money. The experience was really disappointing. The cafe looks good in pictures, but in reality, it’s overpriced and not worth it at all. Staff were unhelpful and difficult to communicate with. Service was very slow and unprofessional. The biggest issue was cleanliness. The tables were dirty, the floor wasn’t clean, and the whole place felt neglected. The food was okay at best, but definitely not worth the high prices. Overall: Not recommended. There are far better places to eat around Jama Masjid. Mambo Vipi, Habari Yako Rafikis, I recently had the pleasure of visiting Burj Cafe, and I must say, the experience was memorable, primarily due to the breathtaking view and the exceptional service provided by Dada (Sister) Ilma, the Customer Service Manager. The panoramic views of the surrounding area, including the iconic Jama Masjid and Old Delhi, were simply stunning. It’s a beautiful spot to relax and soak in the history and vibrancy of the city. Although the food was average, I found myself completely captivated by the warmth and knowledge that Sister Ilma brought to our dining experience. She took the time to explain the historical significance of Jama Masjid and Old Delhi with such passion and depth that I felt a deeper connection to the place. Her storytelling added so much value to the visit, it was clear that she truly cared about sharing the rich culture and history of the area. Thanks to Sister Ilma's fantastic service, I became an instant fan of Burj Cafe. I will certainly recommend this place to all my friends and family, especially those visiting from abroad.
