Ordered from Burger Singh on Saturday night via Zomato because, silly me, I thought I’d treat myself to a nice meal with a drink I actually paid for. Turns out, that was just wishful thinking. The drink? Magically vanished. Not forgotten by the delivery guy—he was great. It simply never left the restaurant. Maybe it evaporated? Maybe Burger Singh’s drinks are now imaginary? Who knows. I immediately called their support line—because, again, I’m old-fashioned and like to receive what I pay for. The response? Radio silence until three days later, when I was told, very casually, that they were too busy celebrating a festival to respond. And now, bonus round, they need another 24–48 hours to “look into it.” I didn’t realize I was entering a bureaucratic black hole just by ordering a soft drink. I was hungry, thirsty, and expecting food—not a delayed email chain and ghosted support. So if you’re ever craving a side of disappointment with your burger, or if you’re into paying for things you’ll never see, Burger Singh’s got you covered. Thanks for the unforgettable experience.
