Personal Rating: (2/5) Exact Location: Burger King, Siliguri – beside Zudio, Sevoke Road, opposite ISKCON Mandir Road I recently visited this Burger King outlet for a takeaway order and was quite disappointed with the service and overall experience. They had promotional combo offers priced at ₹79 and ₹99, which include burgers and cold drinks. As I was unaware of the exact details, I asked one of the staff members for clarification. He clearly stated that each combo would include two burgers (veg or non-veg, as per choice) along with a cold drink for each combo. Based on that assurance, we placed our order. However, when the order was packed and handed over, we received only one veg and one non-veg burger, with no clear explanation. The cold drink packaging was also extremely poor – flimsy and inconvenient for takeaway. While it’s possible that the offer includes just one burger per combo, the miscommunication from the staff was unprofessional and misleading. He should have told us the truth but he had sales to be the first priority over customer satisfaction. What made the experience worse was the lack of proper training or awareness among the staff regarding ongoing promotions. As a reputed brand, I expected better service and clear communication, especially with so many customers relying on the staff for accurate information. Moreover, the food quality was also not very great. (I'm not judging the other items. My review is solely based only on the items I've tried). In comparison, I find KFC to be far more reliable in terms of both flavor and service quality. They maintain better standards and transparency in their offerings. I sincerely urge "Burger King" management to train their staff better and ensure they are well-informed about the current deals. Many customers walk in without prior knowledge and rely on staff suggestions – accuracy and honesty here matter a lot. Until these issues are addressed, I would hesitate to recommend this outlet.
