After you have seen Redeemed Christian Church of God, come to this restaurant. Chinese and Mughlai cuisines are what Buhari hotel boasts. Most guests of this place say that nicely cooked chicken soup, chicken biryani and butter chicken are offered here. It's nice to try great tea.
The great location of this spot makes it easy to reach even in rush hours. If you look through the guests' comments, the staff is appealing at this restaurant. Had mutton biryani the quantity of rice and the quality of mutton meat was great. The restaurant atmosphere and hospitality of the employees are also commendable. Had to catch a train from chennai central station and wanted to have taste of chennai style biriyani before leaving the city. That google search ended in Buhari, a special place for non veg food in Chennai. I had a chicken biriyani. For me, who spend a lot of my time in Hyderabad felt it was like a pulao but i loved the flavour that was provided from it. Definitely loved the chenai biriyani. I also packed a parcel of parotta and chicken 65 for my train journal and food was brilliant. For those who dont know, Buhari hotel is the origin for the chicken 65 dish. There were several stories on the net around the how or why the dish was made. Even though i could not have the hot version of the chicken 65 as i packed it for my dinner, the dish was amazing even when had at normal temperature.
