The Mughal, a fine dining concept by the Buhari Group, offers a multicuisine menu with a noticeable price difference compared to Buhari AC Restaurant. For instance, the Mutton Sansa costs ₹365 at The Mughal, whereas it’s priced at ₹240 at Buhari. However, since both restaurants likely share a centralized kitchen, the taste remains quite similar.We ordered the Lamb Biryani and Chicken Biryani, and while the meat was perfectly cooked, the biryani itself tasted quite average. It lacked spice and depth of flavor, making it feel a bit bland. The raita and mango chutney served alongside were on the sweeter side, which didn’t complement the biryani well.Among the starters, the Zafrani Chicken Tikka stood out as the best of the night tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The Broccoli Cheese Balls were decent, and the Chicken 65 (bone-in) had great flavor, with the masala perfectly marinated into the chicken. The Lebanese Shish Tawook with pita bread was okay, but nothing particularly memorable.The staff was polite, and despite it being a busy Friday night, the service was impressively quick, with starters arriving within 10 minutes of placing the order.The total bill came to around ₹5400. While the experience was decent, it’s not a place I’d visit often ~ maybe just once in a while.
