When I first came to Brunch Bar cafe in early 2022, the Google rating was 4.5 Now it has dropped down to 4.1... the owner must wake up. The place is supposed to open at 8 am. At 9.30 the kitchen staff wasn't in yet. There was an untrained service staff to take the order. Cleaning was still happening upstairs. The cleaner's uniform was stained and disheveled. The food was cold even when it reached me. Salt dispensers were jammed. The omlet, which was quite good, is only served with 1 slice of toast. When I asked for another slice, the server said he would have to charge me. When I pay 800 bucks for breakfast the least they could do is serve me one extra slice of toast. This server was clearly untrained. The way he was dressed and spoke, he seemed to fit more in a Udupi Hotel than a place which calls itself Brunch Bar Cafe. All of this is down to poor management and lack of training for staff. I had a similar experience at Brunch Bar last year, and hesitated to walk in today. I was hoping it had improved but I leave disappointed and disheartened more than upset. If these things happened at a grade III restaurant serving dishes for 50 rupees, I wouldn't bat an eyelid. But this is Brunch Bar Cafe. They are expected to have standards. Here's the kicker - I WANT this place to work out because there aren't many good continental breakfast spots around. Hopefully the owner takes the feedback on board. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
