Come for a meal right after seeing Ballard Estate. Perfectly cooked roasted duck, pilaf and chicken dhansak will impress you at the first bite. It's a pleasant experience to order good caramel ice cream, custard dessert and berry dessert. You will be offered delicious beer, bitter or cordial. This place is famous for great lemonade, chocolate frappe or bread drink.
Britannia & Co. Restaurant - Since 1923 provides food delivery for the convenience of its clients. The atmosphere of hospitality of this place highly depends on the staff, that is terrific here. According to the reviewers' opinions, prices are attractive. You will certainly appreciate the comfortable ambiance and lovely decor.

for the price of dhansak i paid, the quantity was very less of rice. the dal quantity was okay. taste was amazing but enough to fill one persons tummy

Well after two breakfasts, I did some walking and reached my Lunch Spot, which was Britannia & Company, an icon located in the Fort area of Mumbai is a legendary Irani Cafe operating since 1923. I ended up here on the last day of my stay in Mumbai for lunch and ordered their popular Chicken Berry Pulao and a pallonji raspberry soda to accompany. Service was much better than some of the other Irani cafes that I had visited in the morning, the service staff were chatty and were happy to recommend dishes for me. My order arrived quickly and was looking like a mish mash of flavours with the quintessential irani berries, and loads of nuts and fried onions on a mildly flavoured pulao with little chicken meatballs. The flavour was ok and not as great as I had expected it to be, maybe I am not someone for Irani food, not that I disliked but it did not impress me much, especially at 600 rupees a portion. After two breakfasts obviously I could not finish it so I packed it off so as to have it for dinner. The raspberry soda did not taste good for me either. I did pick up their excellent caramel custard that I loved and indulged. I packed the pulav in my checked baggage, and unfortunately it got spoilt in the transit and I had to dispose it, maybe I should give them a chance again in a future visit and lunch there when I am hungry and that might change my view on Irani food or have better references to compare and comment.
